Video to title track of album ‘Showdown’ by The Mighty Mocambos
Hot on the heels of the recent release of their third studio album “Showdown”, Germany’s powerhouse of funk The Mighty Mocambos have just launched the official video to title track “The Showdown”, an instrumental scorcher showcasing the breakbeat-laden, horn-heavy sound this outfit has become known for the world over.
New album “Showdown” was released on March 27th and features guests such as Afrika Bambaataa, Charlie Funk, Donald D and Zulu Nation MCs, Nashville soul singer DeRobert (from DeRobert & The Half-Truths), German film composer Peter Thomas, musicians Guillaume Metenier and Shawn Lee and young soulstress Nichola Richards. Hailed by many as the best release so far by The Mighty Mocambos, this full-length is fire indeed!
