Single ‘Something’s Missing’ from upcoming Mighty Mocambos album
Another preview of The Mighty Mocambos‘ upcoming album Scénarios: written by singer Nichola Richards, second single “Something’s Missing” is a loose-limbed deep funk groover with a classy sister soul vocal delivery.
The song was rehearsed once and recorded live on 8-track tape the next day at Hamburg’s famous Groove City Records Store. Released as part of the band’s quickly sold-out Live at Groove City 45 (only available on vinyl at the store itself), the song now gets its first official release on all platforms.
