New video/45 by jazz-funk breakbeaters Nick Pride & The Pimptones

Jazz-funk breakbeaters from Newcastle Nick Pride & The Pimptones return with a brand new double-sider 45 and video to anticipate upcoming second album “Rejuiced Phat Shake”, dropping in February 2014.

Single “Take Care Of My Love” sees Susan Hamilton handling vocal duties over an irresistible uptempo Northern soul meets Motown beat accompanied by a cool and catchy hook, with an elegant video in black & white to accompany it. B side is  feel-good slice of jazz-funk “Everything’s Better In The Summertime” sung by Karen Harding.

If these 2 tracks are anything to go by, then “Rejuiced Phat Shake” is looking to be one of the most exciting albums of 2014, with Nick Pride and his mighty Pimptones sounding tighter than ever before.

“Take Care Of My Love” out on Légère Recordings via 45/Digital on Nov.8th
