Last single ‘Follow Your Sun’ before second Sun Atlas album drops
With “Follow Your Sun”, anonymous Los Angeles-based collective Sun Atlas invites listeners into a hazy, otherworldly soundscape where psychedelic soul, cinematic textures and weightless melodies merge into a blissful instrumental journey. Drifting between hypnotic rhythms and desert grooves, the single unfolds like a soundtrack to an imaginary place, where time slows down and the outside world fades away.
For listeners of Glass Beams, Khruangbin and Surprise Chef, “Follow Your Sun” captures the immersive, groove-led sound that has become central to Sun Atlas’s mysterious musical universe.
The track arrives as part of the collective’s expanding sonic world, following their acclaimed 2024 debut album Return To The Spirit and leading into their sophomore full-length Law Of Attraction, released via Phlegmatic Records on November 6th 2026 on vinyl and digitally. True to Sun Atlas’s ethos, the music takes centre stage, with the identities behind the masks remaining deliberately concealed. As ever, the collective offers no faces or names—only an invitation to get lost in the sound.
“Follow Your Sun” follows on from first single “Voodoo Cobra” which introduced the upcoming album’s recurring serpent motif, and second single “The All Is Mind“, which revealed another fragment of the ancient philosophy at the core of the album’s themes.
“Follow Your Sun” out digitally on Oct. 16th 2026 on Phlegmatic Records
