Having mesmerized audiences with their infectious energy on stage, Belfast-based trio The Organauts aim to capture this on record with the release of their debut EP, that includes a cover of “I Feel Love”, the 1977 hit by the ‘Queen of Disco’, Donna Summer. With bombastic power chords and invigorating electric guitar riffs, The Organauts have stamped their signature style all over this well-known classic.
“Donna Summer’s vocal is pure soul. The challenge was to capture that soul in an instrumental version. It’s a stripped-down version of a synth classic – with an edge, a pure Organauts take on a timeless floor-filler.”– The Organauts

This tune has been a hit in the band’s live set from day one and they are thrilled to bring it to a wider audience.
This release is also the official debut of Superfly Funk & Soul Records. What began as a Soul Night in the city has fast become an established brand in its own right, spearheaded by DJ Pete Brady. Combining a popular online radio show and a high energy club night, Superfly Funk and Soul has garnered a dedicated following of fans. A record label was the natural next step….
