French dub collective Zentone return with “Take It From The Rich”, a forceful new single that channels social anger into a clear and uncompromising call for justice. Combining heavyweight production, sharp lyrics, and an instantly memorable chorus, the track transforms protest into an explosive, bass-driven anthem.

That principle lies at the heart of “Take It From The Rich”. Why should we bow our heads, accept dead-end jobs, and obey unjust laws imposed by a system that punishes the weakest while enriching the greediest?
As billionaires build rockets to conquer space, finance the campaigns of fascist politicians, burn the planet, and blame ordinary people, Zentone respond with a direct and urgent message. Zentone is a powerful project born from the collaboration between two leading forces of France’s alternative dub scene: Zenzile, from Angers, and High Tone, from Lyon. Since 2006, the two groups have combined their distinctive approaches to create a deep, expansive sound rooted in Jamaican dub and reggae, while drawing on electronic music, rock, bass music, and live experimentation, with vocals by singer Jolly Joseph.
With “Take It From The Rich” this collective identity becomes especially direct. Zentone combine their most powerful production with lyrics that cut sharply through the noise, creating an explosive cocktail that nods its head in the direction of Robin Hood—but less naive, more furious. The aim is not simply to describe injustice, but to turn frustration into movement. From the rhythm section to the melodic arrangements, every element pushes in the same direction: we carry a message. And that message is clear.
