El Combo Batanga drop new latin funk double-sider 45 on Lovemonk
Madrid-based latin funk outfit El Combo Batanga deliver a powerful double-sider 7 inch on Lovemonk Records.
Latin funk, Cuban flavors and a tasty drum break are on the menu for a-side “Ají Gua Guao”, a certified floor filler that has already been supported by Craig Charles (BBC 6) and DJ Koko (Japan).
On the other side, “El Barrio en la Mirada” is a powerful latin soul number, with Cuban singer Ale Gutiérrez‘s vocals shining strong in a song that explores the experience of being an immigrant in a big city.
