New dancefloor-friendly soul single by UK songstress Abi Farrell

“New Love” is the uplifting new single from UK songstress Abi Farrell, who once again teams up with producer Mitch Ayling (The Milk) to create a soul dancer for the 21st century.

Drawing inspiration from Northern Soul classics such as “Suspicion” by The Originals, and combining it with her unique pop sensibility and lyrical dexterity, Abi creates a triumphant, feel-good soundtrack for a new generation of soul fans.

“New Love” is a jubilant celebration of the thrilling highs of brand-new love, telling the story of two lovers finding their way together from opposite sides of the same dance floor; ‘If you want my heart, won’t you come closer to me; cos it’s feeling like new love, your name is stuck on repeat’.

Described as “an artist on the rise… a considerable talent” by Blues & Soul magazine, Abi Farrell has received support from Craig Charles (BBC 2), Loose Ends (BBC 4), Robert Elms & Tony Blackburn (BBC London) and specialist stations such as Mi-Soul and The Face Radio.

With its energetic live string arrangement and driving horns, “New Love” is a dancefloor-friendly soul cut that has been a favorite of Abi’s live shows for some time and is sure to be another leap forward in her musical path.

“New Love” out digitally on March 31st 2023 via self-release
