Till Brönner teams up with Mario Biondi on cover of ‘Via Con Me’
“Via Con Me” is the second single from renowned German trumpet player Till Brönner’s upcoming album Italia, due out on September 5th 2025 via earMUSIC, a vibrant journey into the sun-drenched soundscape of Italy from the 1960s to the early ’80s, produced by Nicola Conte, known for his elegant fusion of jazz, bossa nova and club culture.
For this new track Brönner turns to one of the most beloved Italian songs of the early 1980s: “Via Con Me”, originally written and performed by Paolo Conte. Known and cherished the world over, this song receives a fresh, elegant twist in Brönner‘s version, featuring Italy’s most distinctive soul voice: Mario Biondi.
Till Brönner says “Mario Biondi achieved something only very few jazz musicians manage to do: he reached a global audience and became an important ambassador for Italy – regularly appearing on international jazz stages. And on top of that, he’s just a super relaxed, cool guy”.
With Biondi’s distinctive vocal timbre and Brönner’s refined trumpet, the track becomes a sensual slice of soul-jazz with polished modern production and a contemporary feel.
