Shane Sato, Coastal & Glen Turner II deliver jazztronic single ‘Pulse’
“Pulse” is the fifth and final single leading up to Shane Sato’s sophomore full-length Wavelength, due in May 2026, and it brings together a vibrant trio of collaborators: Los Angeles multi-instrumentalist Sato, producer, DJ, and artist Coastal, and dynamic tenor saxophonist Glen Turner II.
The track fuses smooth jazz textures with the pulse of electronic house, driven by a steady four-on-the-floor groove and layered with a blend of punchy electronic drums and a live acoustic kit. Lush electric guitar melodies intertwine with soaring tenor sax lines as the arrangement rises and falls like a rolling tide, culminating in a powerful saxophone solo from Turner that carries the track’s emotional peak. Equal parts dancefloor energy and coastal daydream, the song feels like riding a wave at sunset—uplifting, expansive, and full of motion—capturing the spirit of collaboration and genre-blending that defines Wavelength.
Featuring a powerhouse lineup of collaborators and friends, this upcoming album paints a palette of warm, vibrant colours and explores multiple genres from jazz to indie to soul. The full-length is expected to drop in the Spring of 2026, and is a follow-up of Shane’s acclaimed debut Until We Meet Again, which garnered 1million+ streams.
