Rodina drops new single ‘Good People’ featuring The Filthy Six horns
Rodina is the project of singer Aoife Hearty and Joe Tatton, keys-player & co-writer from The New Mastersounds, and “Good People” is the third and final single taken off their upcoming album Good Company, scheduled for release on June 27th 2025.
“Good People” features the horn section of London soul-jazz legends The Filthy Six: Nick Etwell on trumpet and Mark Brown on sax. Developed from a vocal hook of singer Aoife Hearty, it’s a frenetic footstomper with a taste of St. Germain from the Joe Tatton Trio rhythm section topped by the hard boppin’ Filthy Six horns.
