New video & single ‘When Tomorrow Christmas Comes’ by Alex Puddu
Italy-born, Denmark-based recording artist Alex Puddu surprises everyone with his new single “When Tomorrow Christmas Comes”, an original Christmas composition with a Motown soul twist, harking back to the R&B sounds of the ’60s and reminiscent of the jukebox hits of “Heatwave” Martha and the Vandellas, Diana Ross and the Supremes, and Marvin Gaye from the heyday of Motown.
The song was written, arranged, and produced by Alex Puddu, featuring vocals from English soul singer Simone Miller and the frontman of the Danish R&B funk band D-Troit, Toke Nisted. Accompanied by musicians from the Danish scene, including Bjarke Staun from the legendary pop indie band Superheroes on drums, Mads Jensen, (D-Troit) on piano and organ, bassist Jackie Larsen (The Breakers / D-Troit) saxophonist Jesper Løvdal, Walter Clerici on guitar Imelda on backing vocals and Alex Puddu himself on additional keys, handclaps, tambourine.
