New psych funk tune ‘On The Hook’ by Estonian wiz Misha Panfilov
The fourth single to be shared from the third installment of German label Golden Rules’ compilation series The Originals comes from Estonian multi-instrumentalist and mastermind Misha Panfilov, who has had an enormous output of great music via US label Funk Night Records in the past few years. This exclusively mystic and spicy track shows his variety and style in making music and was recorded during the worldwide highly recommended “Momentum” sessions in 2022.
Misha Panfilov is a prolific Estonian multi-instrumentalist who has shot onto the scene over the last few years, recording and releasing a grip of gritty groove-laden titles under his own name and with outfits such as Estrada Orchestra, Misha Panfilov Sound Combo, Penza Penza, Centre El Muusa, and many more. Panfilov pulls from a vast pool of influences, from Italian library music to Zamrock to Kosmische Musik, while creating an urgent—sometimes nearly unhinged—sound that is entirely his own.
