Kylie Auldist announces new album with single ‘Get In The Game’
The wait is over. After five years of silence, Australia’s queen of soul and funk, Kylie Auldist, is back — and she’s coming in hot. Her new single, “Get in the Game”, delivers a 3 minute and 13 second hit of full-frontal boogie-funk power, marking the triumphant return of one of the country’s most celebrated voices.
The track is the first single from Auldist’s forthcoming full-length album Hybrid, scheduled for release in March 2026. As the title suggests, the record fuses her trademark soulful warmth with early 80’s production — a bold mix that bridges the dancefloor and the heart.
“After a few years of reflection and reconnection, I just wanted to make music that made me feel alive — something that makes me move but also says something real”, says Auldist. “Hybrid is exactly that — it’s where soul meets synths, and groove meets emotion.”
