Feed LA delivers turbo-charged free pop on single ‘Striezl Stuck’

With members from famed German funk outfit Poets of Rhythm and future jazz group Faruk Green, Berlin-based free pop collective Feed LA can be considered a true thoroughbred!

“Striezl Stuck” is the second single lifted from their upcoming sophomore album More Feed, scheduled to drop on July 18th 2025 via New York-based label Mighty Eye Records. This track demonstrates why the band calls their style ‘Free Pop’, as their genre-bending improvisations never fail to approach a wider range of audiences.

Again created on the spot, Daniel Ray Gahn (drums), Jeff Özdemir (bass) and Özgür Bayraktar (keys) plunge head on into this dynamic post punk / wave inspired speed lap. They speed past the legacy of British icons Joy Division and Style Council, crossing the finish line after just 80 seconds.

The title is a reference to legendary Bavarian race driver Hans-Joachim Stuck. Producer Michael Treetop Voss identified and took good care of the piece, adding some reverse effects to add the race track rush.

With “Striezl Stuck”, Feed LA invites you into their world of fast-thinking, fast-playing, genre-surfing invention—an invitation best accepted at full volume.

More Feed will be the sophomore album after Feed LA’s self-titled 2023 debut and will be available on vinyl, cd and digitally in July 2025.
