Butter Funk Family & Printz Board announce EP ‘Facts’ and EU tour
Butter Funk Family, the explosive collective led by American record producer, songwriter, singer and two-time GRAMMY Award winner Printz Board known for his work with the Black Eyed Peas as well as Katy Perry, CeeLo Green, Mark Ronson, John Legend, and more, announce the release of their new EP Facts alongside a month-long European tour.
Facts moves effortlessly between deep-pocket rhythms, punchy horn lines, and soaring vocals, reflecting both the band’s musical lineage and their forward-thinking spirit. From head-nodding opener “Kootsy Mootsy” inspired by New Orleans soul, to infectious funk anthem “Love Power”, up to the cinematic grooves of “Pussy Pit”, or the titletrack’s defiant message of perseverance, Facts is as much a statement as it is a dance record. It is being released on beautiful LP and on a special double CD that also includes previous EP Downtown, available on CD format for the very first time.
Renowned for transforming every stage into a full-scale celebration, Butter Funk Family has built a cult following across the U.S., Europe, Africa, and South America. Their live shows blend high-voltage funk, roaring vocals, and collective joy—an experience shaped by decades of global touring and collaboration. In 2026, that energy arrives in Europe, with a tour that launches in Rome, continues through Munich and London, and travels across major cultural capitals, bringing selections from Facts as well as Downtown to European audiences.
The tour will feature special guest Alana Hil, marking her first European appearances with the project. A rising voice in contemporary soul, Alana brings a deeply personal and globally influenced sound, adding a powerful narrative layer to the tour. She also appears on various tracks on Facts, further connecting the EP to the live experience.
As well as representing the launch of EP Facts, this tour marks the return of an influential figure in American pop and funk to an independent collective format, with the intent of reconnecting new audiences to funk’s roots and future through a high-energy live show centered on dance, unity, and love. Facts is more than a release—it’s a movement. Butter Funk Family are ready to bring the funk to Europe, and Europe will not remain still!
